Cosentino receives the Business Patronage award from the Social Council of the University of Seville

The multinational Cosentino, based in the municipality of Cantoria, has been distinguished in the VIII edition of the “Business Patronage Awards” granted by the Social Council of the University of Seville (CSUS) . These awards, created in 2016, aim to increase the visibility of University-Business collaboration through recognition of companies that are a business benchmark, and an example to follow, seeking to encourage patronage and the relationship of the productive fabric with the University.

This year, the Awards jury has proposed granting this recognition in the Large Company category to Cosentino, highlighting the high added value generated in the productive fabric of its environment, the innovative nature of its actions, the external projection, and the relationship with sustainable development and environmental sustainability. In this edition, the Huelva company Masiá Ciscar has also been awarded.

The award ceremony took place in the Graduate Hall of the Faculty of CC. Economics and Business Studies of the University of Seville (US), and was chaired by its Rector, Miguel Ángel Castro, and the President of the Social Council, Concha Yoldi. Also participating in the event were Manuel Felipe Rosa, Vice Chancellor of Knowledge Transfer at the US; Antonio Navarro, Dean of the Faculty of CC. Economic and Business; and  Jesús Jiménez,  Director of the Social Council. On behalf of the Almería multinational, Santiago Alfonso, VP of Communication and Corporate Reputation at Cosentino, attended and was in charge of receiving the recognition.
