The Government’s sub-delegate in Almería, José María Martín Fernández, has co-chaired, together with the mayor of Albox, María del Mar Alfonso, the Local Security Board of this town in Almanzora. At the meeting, held at the Town Hall, the security situation in the municipality and the measures planned for the coming months were addressed. Also attending were the lieutenant colonel of the Command of the Civil Guard in Almería, Pedro Herrera, together with agents of the Civil Guard, the Local Police and councillors of the Albox council.

Martín has valued «the holding of this meeting in which the figures on citizen security have been analysed and where the existing needs in each region of the province in this area have been known.»

During the meeting, the importance of having good coordination between the Security Forces and Corps during the months in which a greater number of cultural, social and sporting activities take place in different enclaves of this municipality was highlighted.
