‘Sabores Almería’ expands its range of gourmet products with the incorporation of the first artisanal ice cream company, ‘Sabor Helado’. In this way, the gourmet brand from the province of Almería grows and has more companies under its umbrella, thus achieving advantages to promote the products of the province.
The deputy for Agri-Food Promotion, Carlos Sánchez, has visited the facilities of this company in the municipality of Vélez Rubio and its owner, José David Sánchez, to learn first-hand how the manufacturing process of this gourmet product works. Sánchez was accompanied by councillors Conce Pérez, Diego Martínez and Francisco Egea.
The provincial deputy has expressed his satisfaction because «with this addition, the ‘Sabores Almería’ brand expands its variety of products and complements it with these top quality artisanal ice creams. From now on, the company ‘Sabor Helado’ can enjoy the advantages offered by the gourmet brand of the province.»
In addition, Carlos Sánchez has explained first-hand and detailed the challenges that ‘Sabores Almería’ has in 2024, as well as the international and national fairs in which this company from Vélez Rubio can show its quality products together with other companies of the gourmet seal.
‘Sabor Helado’ is a company that produces ice cream in an artisanal way with a process carefully taken care of down to the last detail, which is reflected in the final result and the quality of its products.
The ‘Sabores Almería’ brand now has the following ‘Sabor Helado’ products:
- Goat cheese with jam Ice cream flavour
- Yogurt with honey ice cream flavor
- La Virgitana Chocolate Ice Cream Flavor
- Pistachio Flavored Ice Cream
2024 the year of the Brand revolution
The year 2024 has become the year of the ‘Sabores Almería’ Revolution with internationalization beyond the European market, jumping to Asia, through the latest trade mission to South Korea; and also to the United States.
At the same time, this year will be the year in which the Diputación brand will be able to open a physical space that will not only allow the sale of products, but also host events such as presentations and showcookings. It will be located on Paseo de Almería.
