Espacio Cocina–SICI (Kitchen Space – SICI) returns to the national calendar of sector fairs at Feria Valencia with a high level of participation confirmed. SICI is the only 100% professional event held in our country for the kitchen furniture and equipment sector, and takes place alongside the Feria Hábitat and Textilhogar Home Textiles Premium. For this edition, it is expected to bring together more than 50,000 professionals who will be able to learn about the latest trends in the sector first-hand, marking what the kitchens of the future will be like.
Cosentino, present since the first editions of the fair, will claim at SICI the fundamental role of technologically advanced and truly sustainable materials in the kitchen and home. Following the leitmotiv of this edition, the Almeria firm will present at the Show its latest developments in technology, new materials and sustainability, embodied in a wide variety of uses and applications.
At its stand (B17), Cosentino is presenting its two most recent collections for the first time in Spain: “Le Chic Bohème by Silestone®XM”, the Silestone® hybrid mineral surface; and “Pietra Edition”, the Dekton® ultra-compact porcelain surface. With the first, the brand is once again at the forefront of sophistication and elegance in interior design. Four new shades that delve deeper into the beauty of veined patterns. Sophistication that is born from innovation, and from tangible sustainability thanks to Hybriq+® technology, which involves manufacturing with 99% reused water and 100% renewable electricity.
Its composition also incorporates a minimum of 20% recycled raw materials, and also contains less than 10% crystalline silica as it belongs to the Silestone®XM category, launched this year. This commitment to circularity can also be seen in the brand’s previous series, “EARTHIC”, the result of an intense research project in collaboration with the Italian studio Formafantasma.
As for Dekton®, the brand’s ability to decode the beauty of classic natural stones is once again evident, offering them to professionals with unrivalled features and high performance. This is the case of “Pietra Edition”, which adapts the beauty of stones such as Travertino, Piacentina, Ceppo Di Gré, Campaspero and Crema Marfil. Designs that facilitate the creation of open spaces full of luminosity, modernity and simplicity.
New products, together with others such as the grooved finishes for Ukiyo wall tiles, are displayed on the stand in different applications. From the central island that presides over the space, to two complete bathroom environments where the use of Dekton® and Silestone® can be seen in practically all applications in this field. A diversification that, through Dekton®, is also displayed in its application on facades or in furniture, with planters and benches distributed throughout the space, and as a covering for furniture and table tops in its 4mm thickness.
Finally, Dekton® will also be the protagonist of the technological evolution reflected, for example, in integrated induction. The Cosentino stand will have a countertop with the Essential induction hob from Gaggenau. And SICI will be the setting for the exclusive presentation of a new integrated induction proposal with Dekton®, which will be displayed at the Home Design Hub (HDH) stand (Stand SC3).
