The Provincial Council of Almería is working to maintain safety on all roads that make up the Provincial Road Network as a result of the DANA that has caused material damage in different parts of the province of Almería and has led to the activation of the orange and yellow alert due to meteorological phenomena.
For this reason, the Department of Public Works has activated a special operation to restore normality to all provincial roads that have been affected by the snow and rain. Thus, the machinery and personnel of the road brigades have been working since early in the morning to clear the debris caused by the rainfall, in addition to cleaning work on the affected roads. Some of the roads have already been reopened to traffic thanks to the work of the workers of the Provincial Council of Almería.
The Deputy for Public Works, Antonio J. Rodríguez, has pointed out that “from the Provincial Council of Almería we are working tirelessly to restore normality to our roads. There has been no serious damage to our road network but it is still necessary to carry out cleaning work due to the landslides that have occurred and the floods that have cut off several roads, but one of them has been reopened shortly afterwards, although caution is requested. I would like to thank the impeccable work that all the workers are doing and that they do throughout the year to maintain safety on the provincial roads”.

At midday on Tuesday, several roads had already been opened, where work to remove debris and landslides was still being carried out, such as the AL-3102, AL-6100, AL-6101, AL-6403 and AL-6402. In addition, road crews and members of the road brigades continued to carry out clean-up work on the affected provincial roads.
Likewise, during the day on Tuesday work is being carried out on the following roads: AL-7102, AL-6102, AL-6103, AL-6104, AL-7100, AL-3303, AL-5405, AL-3102, AL-6100, AL-6101, AL-6403, AL-6402 and AL-4404. Also, early on Tuesday afternoon the AL-7102 was closed at the Almanzora River and the AL-7100 due to a landslide and collapse of part of the road.
