The DANA that has hit the province in the last few hours has caused various damages in different parts of the province of Almería. The Government delegate of the Junta, Aránzazu Martín, as well as the rest of the team of delegates of the province have travelled to the different affected areas, to check the damages caused by the heavy rains.
In this way, Martín has travelled to the Almanzora region, together with the delegate for Development, Land Management and Housing, Dolores Martínez, and the delegate for Social Inclusion, Youth, Families and Equality, Francisco Bellido. The Delegate has checked the numerous damages that have been experienced in municipalities such as Olula del Río, Macael, Fines and Armuña. In addition, she has been able to learn about the situation of the Serón bypass, “which has been cut off by a sinkhole that covers the entire road on the A334 at kilometre point 32. A section that has been cut off and in which an alternative detour has been organised via the western access road to Serón and exit via the eastern access A1178 until being able to reach the A334 again”, explained the delegate.
During this tour, Martín was able to learn about the damage situation that the mayors of the Almanzora region had informed him about and he showed “the outstretched hand of the Andalusian Government to be able to work together to return to normality as soon as possible.”
