Albox City Council has decided to suspend the activities planned for the All Saints’ Day Fair this Sunday.
Through a statement on social media, Mayor María del Mar Alfonso herself stated that “With the information of the orange alert for the Almanzora Valley, the decision has been made to suspend the Fair and the events today and to take preventive measures again in response to the orange alert. We have already learned that with time and alerts the best measure is prevention.
We cannot control the weather and climate change, but the way we act in the face of them is our responsibility.
Be careful.
We remind you that the orange alert from early in the morning has changed to red. Civil Protection has sent an alert to residents, which reads that once the red alert has been activated due to extreme risk of rain, they should act with caution, avoid travel and follow the advice of 112.
