Arrested in Albox with 132 marijuana plants, a weapon and for domestic violence

As part of the Civil Guard’s actions aimed at combating drug trafficking and guaranteeing public safety, agents from the Albox Civil Guard Station have carried out an operation that culminated in the dismantling of an indoor marijuana cultivation and the arrest of an individual who is accused of several alleged crimes, including drug trafficking, illegal possession of weapons and domestic violence.

In mid-October, after a series of police investigations and the collaboration of citizens through communications from residents, the agents identified several targets, including a home that allegedly housed illegal activities related to the cultivation, production and trafficking of narcotics. At these points, the agents of the investigation group of the Civil Guard Post in Albox were gathering most of the evidence that pointed to the development of these illegal activities.

The operation was precipitated by a complaint filed by a victim of other alleged crimes. During the investigation, evidence was gathered that linked the accused person to the illegal activities being investigated. These clues revealed, among other things, that the detainee possessed a firearm in the home and maintained an illegal marijuana cultivation inside the house.

After analysing the information obtained and following ongoing investigations, the agents proceeded to search the house. Inside, they found an indoor grow shop with 132 marijuana plants in the initial flowering phase. In addition, a revolver was seized, found inside a holster, with the cylinder loaded with ammunition and two 38 mm cartridges ready to be used. The weapon was immediately secured to ensure safety and avoid risks during the development of the operation. The appropriate inspections will be carried out to see if it is related to other criminal acts.

The detainee, who admitted his involvement in the events, has been brought before the court as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of drug trafficking, illegal possession of weapons and domestic abuse.
