The City Council and CD Ciudad de Purchena Futsal renew the agreement for the management of sports schools and the promotion of the municipality with a contribution of 29,000 euros.
Purchena Town Hall and sport continue to strengthen ties thanks to the renewal of the collaboration agreement with a Futsal Club that has been in existence for 3 years. This agreement is key to promoting a booming sport, which has become a fundamental pillar for all the residents of the municipality.
The agreement, which has a budget of €29,000, is intended for the grassroots football categories (mixed pre-benjamin, mixed benjamin, mixed alevín, male and female children, and male and female youth), as well as the senior team, which is fighting for promotion halfway through the season and is capable of bringing together more than 150 people every weekend.
The mayor of Purchena, José Luis Serrano, has expressed his pride in being a part of the start of a journey that is now in its third edition: “It is always positive to continue with things that work and continuing to support indoor football in Purchena is a guarantee of success. Seeing how many children who always went to other nearby municipalities to play return to Purchena is a sign that things are going well.”
In this regard, the mayor added that “the club’s board, coaches and technical staff in general are all residents of Purchena and that is a positive fact for us. No one better to manage a hundred children who will be able to continue enjoying football in our town thanks to the Town Hall, but also to the parents, as well as sponsors and collaborators from many places that will allow us to continue growing.”
The Ciudad de Purchena Futsal Sports Club will manage the grassroots football schools and will have a technical director and coordinator of grassroots futsal sports schools, six instructors, a qualified male youth coach with a federation registration and a physical trainer.
Among the obligations that the club has with this agreement, it is worth highlighting the management of the Sports Schools in the facilities of the Municipal Pavilion; submitting to the actions of verification and monitoring of the activity and financial control; promoting the municipality in all activities, as well as the club’s shirts; and carrying out all the necessary management of official matches in each category.
Purchena grants its sports facilities
Just a week ago, Purchena reopened its sports facilities after being recently awarded the concession for the management and operation of sports facilities services.
Some of the reforms that have been carried out include the extension of bicycles in the spinning room, improvements to the gym to create a more favourable environment, adaptation of the indoor paddle tennis court, the relocation of a kiosk to provide a hydration service, the development of the climbing wall, more green areas thanks to the Provincial Council’s Savia Plan and various works in electricity, plumbing and carpentry. All this has been possible thanks to an investment of more than €10,000 financed with own funds.
