Albox Town Hall hosted the inauguration ceremony this Friday for the two new local police officers who are joining the town’s staff.
Early in the morning, José Francisco Navarrete Ruiz and Juan Soto Quiles were sworn in as new officers to join the Albox Local Police force.
The mayor, María del Mar Alfonso, welcomed them and assured them that “it is a great day for Albox, two young people from our town who will reinforce our local police force after completing the entire process. Congratulations on the work you have done, I trust that your arrival will further improve the safety of all the residents.”

The two new local police officers who have completed their training at the Public Security Emergency Institute of Andalusia (IESPA) join a team made up of the head of the Local Police, an officer, eleven police officers, a service assistant linked to the force and the two new agents who raise to 16 the number of agents who will guarantee the safety of all Albox residents within the Albox Local Police force.
“You have been in the academy for nine months, and during your practical training you have had the opportunity to act in different situations and you have done a great job. But now your real career begins and with it you acquire a very important commitment. You have to be operational 24 hours a day, serve the citizen with careful treatment, respect the institutions and authorities, collaborate with your colleagues and the rest of the security forces and bodies. I am very happy because you have come to add to and improve our team even more,” said the head of the Local Police of Albox, Casimiro Martínez.
This was the end of an emotional event, attended by family members and the entire local police force of Albox, which has incorporated two new officers and will soon have a new vehicle to improve the current fleet before the end of the year.
The purchase of suitable broadcasting equipment for daily use (digital transmitters) and new furniture for the offices, which have recently been equipped with a new entrance door at the Albox Local Police Station, is planned.
