The Provincial Deputation of Almería and the City of Arboleas join forces with the objectives of launching actions that improve the quality of life and well-being of all the residents of the town through the promotion of municipal economic activity that favors fixing of the population and the creation of opportunities.
The president of the Almería Provincial Council, Javier A. García, along with the mayor of Arboleas, José Juan Ramos and the deputy mayor, Josefa Rodríguez, accompanied by the PFEA deputy, Matilde Díaz, and together with other members of the municipal corporation, have visited Arboleas to learn about the work being carried out. currently carried out through the Plan for the Promotion of Agricultural Employment.
In this sense, the president has known in first person the urban planning actions of the PFEA that have been carried out on Campillo streets and the El Rulador Highway; as well as environmental improvements in more than a dozen public spaces in the municipality, such as parks, gardens, the municipal swimming pool or the cemetery and, above all, the works through which the second tourist town of Arboleas is being completed with the conditioning of a property to enhance rural tourism.
This tourist town, called Sierra La Murta, is made up of four houses, of which the first is completed and is currently working on the second, it will also have a restaurant. It is framed in a privileged enclave surrounded by nature.
Regarding these works, the President of the Provincial Council has affirmed that “the PFEA is one of the most powerful tools that we have from the provincial institution to promote investment, employment and the continuous improvement of infrastructures in our towns. Thanks to the actions undertaken in Arboleas, the municipality has embellished its public spaces and created a town that encourages tourism in the town ”.
Likewise, García has indicated that “the promotion of tourism throughout the destination ‘Costa de Almería ’, especially in the municipalities of the interior, is a strategic key for the government of the province since it is a powerful engine of wealth and employment creation, an activity that socially and economically energizes our peoples, and one of our best allies to take on the demographic challenge and set the population. These actions allow us to constantly equalize opportunities among Almeris, wherever they live ”.
Telephone coverage throughout the municipality
For his part, the mayor of Arboleas, José Juan Ramos, thanked the Provincial Council and its president for the institution’s support in making the municipality’s major projects a reality and added that “for the adaptation of Avenida del Campillo and the Sierra de La Murta project with rural houses has been crucial and, in the same way, their mediation has been key for us to have telephone coverage throughout the municipality with the new coverage won in the districts of Limaria and Los Higuerales ”.
Example of institutional collaboration
The PFEA is a clear example of the collaboration between administrations in favor of the smallest municipalities such as the Town Halls, the Almería Provincial Council, the Andalusian Government and the Government of Spain, through SEPE. In the case of the Arboleas actions, the total investment amounts to more than 200,000 euros, which have created more than 1,600 wages.
The completion of the second tourist town of Arboleas through the PFEA is favoring the conditioning of a new property with cleaning and clearing works, interior and exterior cladding of the house, execution of a new hearth, carpentry with windows and doors, painting of walls and ceilings or the realization of the installation of plumbing, sanitation and electricity.
The actions on Campillo Street and El Rulador Highway have enabled the creation of a new steel mill and the installation of a drinking water supply. As for the environmental improvement works, the work in public spaces of the municipality has consisted of cleaning, conditioning, clearing, composting, cutting, pruning …, drip and paint irrigation installation.
