On the night of 11 August, a Local Police patrol was carrying out crime prevention work in the area of the Castillo de Mar Urbanisation in La Manga del Mar Menor, when they proceeded to identify several people, as according to information from neighbours in the area a group of young people could be consuming and «sniffing» narcotic substances.
During the checks that were carried out by the acting force, 8 acts of intervention of drugs were derived through the Law 4/15, of Protection of Public Safety, for the illegal possession of narcotic substances, along with the realization of proceedings for a crime against public health, because 50 doses of a substance apparently «hashish» were seized, perfectly distributed for what appears to be the illegal sale of the same.
