The illegal macro-party that has been taking place at the Fuente Álamo speed circuit since New Year’s Eve has come to an end. Six days after more than 8,000 people crowded around seven stages of the ‘Big Fucking Party’, the music stopped this Friday and the last attendees left the area in their vehicles, according to the Government Delegation in a statement.
In the area there was only one stage left standing and about a thousand vehicles, who decided to hurry the New Year’s Eve party until almost Epiphany. Around 577 vehicles are leaving the site under the surveillance of the operation coordinated by the Guardia Civil and the Local Police of Fuente Álamo. At around 1 p.m., less than two hundred remained inside.
The Guardia Civil and Local Police have deployed a significant reinforcement of troops to ensure the safety of participants and facilitate a proper exit. It should be noted that the withdrawal of attendees is being carried out in an organised manner and in accordance with the established security measures.
So far, more than 200 administrative sanctions have been recorded. The traffic police have issued fifty-seven reports for drug tests and fourteen for infractions of the Road Safety Law.
For its part, public safety has recorded ninety penalties for possession or use of drugs, fourteen complaints for violations of the Road Safety Act, seven reports for possession or carrying weapons, four complaints for disobedience to law enforcement officers, a complaint to the Aliens Act and one arrested for drug trafficking. The Fuente Álamo Local Police issued twenty administrative reports for camping in unauthorised areas.
