Sabores Almería’ starts 2024 with the hope that it will become the year of the «brand revolution». This was stated by the president of the Provincial Council of Almeria, Javier A. García, at the presentation of the activities and initiatives planned by the institution to promote the excellence of ‘Sabores Almería’ during the new year.
There are many new developments that the gourmet brand of the provincial institution will experience in the new year and that have a common goal: that the brand and all its companies continue on the path of growth experienced in recent years, and that all this contributes to consolidate and open up to new markets, especially in the international arena.
To achieve this, as Carlos Sánchez, the Provincial Council of Almeria’s Deputy for Agri-Food Promotion, Consumer Affairs and Trade, points out, a series of actions have been designed to consolidate internationalisation, boost training or with the opening of the first physical and online space of ‘Sabores Almería’ for the promotion of the brand’s products.

«In 2024 we will participate in more national and international fairs than ever, and we will initiate a series of trade missions in other countries, such as South Korea or the United States, with the aim that the Almerian products of our reference brand conquer new markets. We are taking part in all these forums with the enthusiasm and conviction that we have the best, healthiest and most creative products, and with chefs who know how to get the most out of this spectacular raw material,» Sánchez stated.
Almeria’s gastronomy will be present at ‘Madrid Fusión’, ‘Alimentaria’, ‘Salón Gourmet’, ‘Fruit Attraction’ and ‘San Sebastián Gastronomika’. In addition, it will once again travel to the international forums of Fruit Logística, in Berlin, or SIAL – Paris, which was so successful in 2022.
As great novelties, ‘Sabores Almería’ will share its excellence and creations in two new international fairs: in Parma ‘Cibus’ and in London ‘Speciality and fine food’. These are two important events in countries such as Italy and the United Kingdom, where Almeria’s products are highly valued, as well as the expectations of growth in these markets.
