The Guardia Civil de la Comandancia de Almería, arrested two people aged 28 and 64, managers of a hotel business, as perpetrators of an alleged crime of Sexual Exploitation in the municipality of Huércal Overa.
This investigation, carried out by the Huércal Overa Territorial Judicial Police Team, began as a result of a complaint filed by the victim, in which she informed the Guardia Civil personnel in charge of the investigation that she was forced to have intimate relations with clients, even without her consent.
As a result of the different actions and efforts carried out by the Guardia Civil of the Almería Command, last December 2023, the corresponding inspection of the business was carried out and after its completion, a woman and her son, aged 64 and 28, both managers of the premises, were arrested as alleged perpetrators of a crime of Sexual Exploitation.
The Guardia Civil, in collaboration with the associations «Engloba» and «Médicos de Mundo», took the necessary steps to ensure that the victim was assigned to a shelter.
Both the proceedings and the detainees are placed at the disposal of the Court of First Instance and Instruction No. 3 of Huércal Overa.
