Under this premise, the government team of the municipality of Zurgena headed by its mayor Domingo Trabalón celebrates having approved the new budgets which amount to 3,773,000 euros.
«They are real budgets,» said the mayor in dialogue with La Comarca Noticias, with 1,172,000 euros of investment, including for example the creation of a dog park, the remodelling of different arteries and the refurbishment of the water supply network.
In the new budgets, the item referring to cultural activities is increased by 30,000.00 euros and the amount foreseen for tourism and trade activities is tripled.
«In the remuneration of government bodies, with the elimination of the post of temporary staff, a decrease of about 8,000.00 euros is achieved in relation to 2023,» says Trabalón.
Investments are mainly conditioned by obtaining the resources to finance them (PMS). This chapter also contains the municipal contributions to the works of the Next Generation Funds, which amount to more than 200,000.00 euros, and for which it has been necessary to resort to debt.
