The Summit for the Guadix Baza Almanzora Lorca train will take place this Friday 15th March, from six o’clock in the afternoon, at the Palacio de los Enríquez in Baza.
The business and railway collectives of the south-eastern peninsular regions will jointly host the municipal corporations of Baza and Guadix, in an event that will be attended by representatives of the Spanish, Andalusian and Murcia governments, members of the European Parliament, regional and state parliamentarians, mayors of the old railway line, as well as different public and institutional positions, according to the different platforms that fight for the return of the train.
The main aim of this Summit, they say in a statement, is to demand the reopening of the Guadix Baza Almanzora Lorca railway line, its inclusion in the route of the Mediterranean Railway Corridor and its incorporation into the Trans-European Transport Network.
