The Provincial Council of Almería has hosted the launch of one of the largest Futsal events held throughout Spain due to the amount of its prizes. This is the ’24 Hours Football – Sala de Zurgena’ that turns 40 and is celebrated on June 22 and 23.
The vice president of the Provincial Council, José Antonio García, and the mayor of Zurgena, Domingo Trabalón, have discovered the poster for an event that will distribute the biggest prizes in Spain:
- First Classified: €3,000
- Second Classified: €1,500
- Semi-finalist: €150
Participation will be between 16 and 12 teams and there will also be trophies for MVP, Top Scorer and Least Scored Goalkeeper and Federated Referees. Those interested can register by calling 679 92 21 86.

Likewise, a parallel program has been planned that includes a sports car exhibition and a freestyle show with ‘Moha Freestyle’, who surprises with his ball handling.
The provincial deputy for Sports has highlighted the collaboration of the Provincial Council with an event that is a benchmark in the province: “It is as important for its age, as for the level of the participants and the awards. This event meets the objective that we have set for ourselves of promoting sport as an element of recreation and creation of employment and wealth.”
Trabalón has been proud to “come to the Provincial Council to continue promoting sport in our municipality. Today we present a very ambitious project for Zurgena and the province: the 24 Hours of Futsal with the largest financial prize in all of Spain. In parallel, there will be activities aimed at all audiences with an exhibition of luxury sports cars and a freestyle Futsal exhibition. We are waiting for you all and we encourage you to participate in a show never seen before in the province.”
