The president of the Partido Popular of Arboleas, David Prados, has denounced a new «non-compliance» by the mayor of the town, Cristóbal García, with the residents of the Limaria neighbourhood, after more than six months have passed since the meeting in which he promised them the installation of a «small antenna» to put an end to the problems of telephone coverage in the area.
David Prados recalls that after many years of «inaction» on the part of the socialist government team, the Popular Party’s complaint and the repercussions it had in the media made the mayor «take note» and he promised in a meeting with those affected to resolve the situation quickly, as he explained that it was an easy and economic matter.
This was also acknowledged in the media, but unfortunately, continues the PP president, «his words have once again fallen on deaf ears» and since that day the residents have not seen any progress in solving a problem that worries the Arboleanos who live in Limaria because this isolation due to lack of coverage prevents them from making daily calls, as well as emergency calls in case of an accident or the need to notify a medical team if someone is indisposed.
The president of the PP of Arboleas asks the mayor to abandon the «idleness» that characterises him and get down to work to solve a problem that is a historical claim of the residents of Limaria.
