The football club Real Betis Balompié for the first time in the province will have a training school in grassroots football; the Betis Academy Tíjola. An initiative that will be possible thanks to the efforts of the Reche Fernández Group based in Tíjola, and the collaboration of the Tíjola Town Hall.
The training camp will take place on the 27th, 28th and 29th of December at the José Juan Rodríguez de Olula del Río municipal pitch in Olula del Río, as work on the new football pitch in Tíjola is due to be completed in October 2023.
«Registrations have been a success and the seventy places were filled in less than 24 hours,» confirms sports coordinator Juan Manuel Sánchez, a greater response than in Japan where a training academy with its own training methodology will also be held.

This school model is backed and supported by Real Betis Balompié and its Foundation with its headquarters in Seville and aims to provide football training and REST values (Respect, Effort, Health and Teamwork) to all children who want to be part of the Betis family.
The arrival of Betis in Tíjola is not a coincidence. The Reche Fernández brothers are known, among other things, for their Beticismo, instilled by an uncle who is a fanatical fan of the green and white colours. The first step was taken in September 2021, when the Tíjola group signed an agreement that made them the first sponsor of Real Betis Balompié Genuine, a team that competes in the Liga Santander Genuine.
The Betis Academy Tíjola has the conceptual basis and training methodology of the youth teams of Real Betis Balompié. This connection means a high degree of quality when training on the pitch with the pupil-players, as they will be subjected to the demands of a player from the youth academy, which will allow them to evolve at a football level in an optimal way.
