The territorial delegate stresses the importance of complementing theoretical training with work experience.

The territorial delegate for Employment, Enterprise and Self-Employment, Amós García Hueso, has informed that «the companies that provide non-labour professional practices to the students of Vocational Training for Employment (FPE) actions in the province can now apply for financial compensation for this collaboration».

«In this way, the Regional Ministry of Employment, Enterprise and Self-Employment is responding to a request that has been made by these collaborating companies, which carry out important work by complementing the theoretical training received by the students of the VET actions with internships that provide them with valuable experience and increase their chances of entering the labour market».

The Territorial Delegation of Employment, Enterprise and Self-Employment has notified this novelty to the companies that usually collaborate in carrying out these internships, such as those that have collaboration agreements with the National Reference Centre (CRN) of Piedra Escuela del Mármol de Fines, attached to the Andalusian Employment Service (SAE).

This possibility of receiving financial compensation is included in the resolution of 20 October 2022 of the Directorate General of Vocational Training for Employment published in BOJA no. 206 of 26 October 2022, which includes the call for these aids, on a non-competitive basis, and will apply to training actions initiated by training centres belonging to the SAE and the Andalusian CRNs from that date onwards.

This financial compensation is set out in the order of 10 November 2021, which establishes the procedures for the implementation and compensation of non-labour professional practices and the awarding of grants and aid to participants in training actions of Vocational Training for Employment, published in the BOJA of 17 November 2021.
