As in previous years, the Purchena Town Hall organised the traditional Christmas lunch with the elderly of the municipality which, on this occasion, took place in the town of Águilas. There, the elderly residents of Purchena spent a pleasant day visiting this town in Murcia and then visited the Municipal Nativity Scene installed in the Town Hall.
The Municipal Artistic Nativity Scene, the work of local resident Carlos Moreno, was inaugurated once again this year in the Town Hall with the blessing of the local Parish Priest and numerous local residents.
The magnificent Nativity Scene, which last year had more than 1500 visitors, opened its doors on December 5th and can be visited until January 6th, Monday to Friday from 17 to 21 hours.
Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, the opening hours are: mornings from 10am to 2pm and afternoons from 5pm to 9pm.
