The Councillor for Public Safety of the City of Lorca, José Luis Ruiz Guillén, has reported this morning, new actions carried out by Local Police through the various units in which it is organized.
The Councillor for Public Safety has pointed out that «one of the operations was carried out this past week, resulting in the eviction of an illegal party that was being held in a communal ground floor of a block of buildings, and that was causing great inconvenience to the residents of the area.
Ruiz Guillén indicated that «the officers had already gone to this place previously to report the nuisance they were causing and because a large number of people were gathered in the same place».
Specifically, approximately 40 people were gathered together, consuming alcoholic beverages, with a portable loudspeaker connected to a very high volume, and keeping the place in a precarious state of cleanliness.
The municipal head of Public Safety explained that «we proceeded to identify those responsible for the event, as well as the intervention of the musical apparatus which was deposited in police custody. In addition to the eviction of this place, collecting all the tables and chairs, as well as all the rubbish generated and the proposed penalty for those responsible for this event for consumption of alcoholic beverages on public roads, as well as for the musical nuisance based on the Municipal Ordinance of civility».
The councillor referred to another of the actions carried out by the Local Police this week, «when the officers were called by a citizen in Calle Santa Paula whose mobile phone had been stolen from inside his vehicle, which was parked in Calle Jerónimo Santa Fe».
Ruiz Guillén added that «this person provided a description of the alleged thief, who was located minutes later in Calle Lope Gisbert, who was carrying the stolen phone, which was handed over to its owner».
Finally, the Councillor for Public Safety has reiterated that «from the City of Lorca, through the staff of the Local Police, will continue to carry out all actions that are necessary to ensure the safety of residents, as well as for the prevention and detection of crimes in the municipality of Lorca, both in the neighborhoods of the town and in the districts».
