The Mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo and several members of the municipal Corporation attended today, in the cemetery of San Javier, the ceremony with which the General Air Academy remembers its deceased military on the occasion of the Day of the Fallen for the Fatherland, celebrated today by the Armed Forces.
The colonel director of the AGA, Pascual Soria, presided over the solemn act that began with the raising of the flag to the sound of the national anthem played by the AGA Music Unit, in the military enclosure that houses the cemetery of San Javier. Two students carried a laurel wreath which was laid by Colonel Pascual Soria and the Mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo, next to the Cross which presides over the military enclosure in the cemetery.
The chaplain of the AGA officiated the funeral service in which he remembered the deceased soldiers of the Armed Forces and especially those of the Air Force, before the military and civil authorities, together with a representation of the Ladies of Loreto and civilians who attended the ceremony which ended with the hymn of the Air Force.
