The PSOE of Albox will build a Municipal Music School in a building located in the San Juan neighbourhood with the aim of unifying the musical culture that exists in the town around the same space in which there will be room for everything from the award-winning Municipal Music Band to new musicians of the municipality, and of all ages.
Thus, according to the socialist candidate for Mayor of Albox, Mary Trinidad, if the PSOE wins at the polls on 28 May, will launch this initiative which is, as she acknowledged, one of the «priorities» of its electoral program and that will be done in response to an existing need in the municipality. «The citizens have an extraordinary opinion of the talent that, for example, our Municipal Band has displayed during Easter Week,» he said and recalled that the current government team placed them eight years ago in a space in the Velázquez school. «It seemed that it was going to be provisional, but time has passed and no one has given them a solution,» lamented Mary Trinidad, who will resolve the issue when she becomes mayor.
«Albox needs unity and music, including ours, needs to be united in a space that is up to the task so that our musicians can continue to develop and expand as well as they do,» she said and acknowledged the commitment of the PSOE of Albox «with the future of our young people and with the promotion of our culture», which is why she has assured that they will be «brave» in their defence.
