Cosentino, the multinational based in Cantoria, continues with the global expansion of its innovative model of showrooms, called «City», and opens two new spaces in the city centres of Lisbon and Istanbul.
The new «Cosentino City Lisboa», the first in Portugal, has a surface area of 365m2 and is located in the Tivoli Fórum building, at Avenida da Liberdade nº 180, loja 5B, the city’s true ‘Golden Mile’ which, between the Eduardo VII Park and Baixa, offers a tour of luxury boutiques, haute cuisine, cultural proposals and high-design shops.
«With the City we are taking an important qualitative leap to strengthen our presence in the Portuguese market. Cosentino has been present in Portugal for 15 years on its own, with a strong logistics and distribution network, growing year after year in market penetration. Now the showroom, which will be joined in 2024 by another in Oporto, allows us both to offer a new joint «home» for our partners and customers, and to approach architecture, design and interior design professionals with all our versatility, also showing our solutions for facades, cladding and bathrooms», says Luís Toscano, manager of Cosentino Lisbon.

Cosentino opened its own subsidiary in Portugal, «Cosentino Porto», in 2006 after the integration of the company Interpedras, lda, the previous Silestone® distributor for central and northern Portugal. That year it opened its first own warehouse located in Vila de Conde (Porto), followed in 2018 by the «Center» in Lisbon.
For its part, the Etiler neighbourhood in the Beşiktaş district (Nispetiye Caddesi, No: 8-12, Mağaza 93-94) has been home to the 520 m2 of exhibition and experiential space of «Cosentino City Istanbul» since 29 September. Etiler is one of the city’s most exclusive neighbourhoods with a wide range of leisure and dining options, and where numerous design and architecture studios are located. This «City» joins the existing one in Dubai (UAE) for the Middle East region.
As in the case of Portugal, this is also the company’s first showroom in Turkey, a country where it was established with its own subsidiary in 2014, and where it has maintained three «Centers» or warehouses since then, located in the cities of Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir, which are able to provide service and meet the demand throughout the country.
