Coming up with a business idea, analysing it, and developing a plan to carry it out is the main objective of «Axes», From Idea to Success. Workshops for Innovative Entrepreneurs, an initiative of the Local Development Agency, ACTIVA, aimed at budding and active entrepreneurs. The councillor for Local Development and Employment, Héctor Verdú, today presented this entrepreneurship programme which will be held at the Business Centre in Santiago de la Ribera, with 20 places completely free of charge.
The programme will begin on 23 November with a day of analysis of the participants’ skills as business managers, who will then go through four workshops from 27 November to 1 December. The workshops, which will be held in the afternoons, will focus on business design, marketing plan, finances and a final presentation of the project. To get the business idea off the ground, the programme offers accommodation in the Business Centre’s coworking space and a mentor who «will accompany the entrepreneurs during the first few months», explained Verdú.
Those interested can register in person at the Business Centre, in Santiago de la Ribera, through ACTIVA’s social networks, and at ejes.bacofis.es, where all the details of the programme can also be consulted. Councillor Héctor Verdú encouraged anyone with a business idea in mind to take part. «Now is the time to put it into action with the support, advice and free training offered by the City Council of San Javier through Activa». Verdú recalled that the Business Centre is already active, with the regular operation of the Local Development Agency. Also the Chamber of Commerce started operating since October while other arrivals are being prepared, such as the Instituto de Fomento, business associations or the local trade associations themselves.
