A new location, more companies and products than ever before and an extensive programme of activities are ensuring a large number of visitors to the 10th edition of the ‘Sabores Almería’ Fair over the long weekend in December. The Plaza de las Velas in the city of Almería is hosting this event, which has become a classic for anticipating the Christmas atmosphere in the province, until Saturday, 9 December, from 11am to 10pm.
During these days, locals and visitors are taking advantage of the opportunity to have concentrated in the same space hundreds of references and products of up to 42 companies of the gourmet brand promoted by the Diputación de Almería. Beers, meats, sweets, wines and spirits, oils, pickles, fruit and vegetables, bakery, cheeses, fish, sausages… are surprising consumers with their excellence and creativity.
The Deputy for Agri-food Promotion, Trade and Consumer Affairs, Carlos Sánchez, explained that «visitors to the fair are taking advantage of the opportunity offered by this meeting point to fill their larders in preparation for the Christmas celebrations and that local products, which are the best in the world, are the stars of the most important moments of the festive season».

In this sense, the deputy recalled that «anyone who has not yet visited the fair has until this Saturday to do so and discover the quality and originality of the creations of the companies that are part of ‘Sabores Almería’. And the little ones will be able to enjoy the chocolate workshops with La Virgitana».
