Infomur Plan officers managed to control a fire that affected 900 square metres of La Atalaya mountain, in Cartagena, on Friday night. After 20.30 hours, the 112 received more than twenty calls alerting of the fire.
The fire affected almost 1,000 square metres.
An environmental agent, a terrestrial forestry brigade, firefighters from the Fire and Rescue Service of the City of Cartagena and personnel from the Civil Protection of Cartagena were sent to the scene. About an hour later, the firefighters managed to stabilise the fire, which was brought under control at around 22:00 hours.
