This coming Friday 22nd December, the Arboleas Town Council has organised a charity Christmas market.
This is an initiative promoted by the local Councillor for Associations and Tourism, with the intention that the proceeds from the market (3 euros per stand) will be donated to the Local Association for the Fight Against Cancer and the local Food Bank.
Antonio Martínez, councillor responsible for associations, told La Comarca Noticias: «In Arboleas there are more than 20 associations, many of them made up of residents of other nationalities who live in our town, who are very sensitive when it comes to helping those who need it most. This is a newly created council that allows us to work together for the welfare of all».

Those who come to the Christmas market will have the opportunity to do their Christmas shopping, in a wide variety of products, from textiles to gastronomy.
«Father Christmas will receive the children’s letters, there will be music, but above all there will be a great desire to collaborate with the associations,» said Martínez.
The event will take place in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento from 16:00 to 21:00.
