A supermarket in San Javier is held up at knifepoint

The thief entered the establishment with his face uncovered, threatened an employee with a knife and managed to take about a thousand euros.

The Guardia Civil is looking for the robber who last Saturday held up a supermarket in San Javier at knifepoint and with his face uncovered. The thief, who was wearing a black jacket, entered through the front door, went to one of the cash registers and threatened the employee with a knife, demanding that he give him the money in the drawer, to the astonished gaze of several customers who were queuing to pay.

Several people reproached the man for his action and even argued with him. Finally, after taking about a thousand euros in cash, he fled. The establishment’s security cameras recorded the whole sequence and the images are in the possession of the agents, who have started an investigation to try to locate him.
