The Town Council of Zurgena will receive 263,192 euros from a grant awarded by the Delegation of Employment, Enterprise and Self-Employment for an Employment Workshop (now Employment and Training Programme) which will train ten unemployed people from the municipality in the tourism modality.
Isabel Sola, Councillor for Employment in Zurgena, in dialogue with La Comarca Noticias, expressed her satisfaction «for this Epiphany gift we have received to contribute to the development of our municipality. This is the second part of the workshop that took place this year and is called Local Tourism Promotion and Visitor Information. It is a workshop where ten people are going to benefit from this programme for one year, they will be insured, they will pay contributions and they will have their theoretical and practical training. These types of subsidies, due to their amount and destination, are very important for our town».
The Employment and Training programme offers the student, at the end of the course, a certificate of professionalism level 3, one of the highest. As this is the highest level, one of the requirements is to have completed the baccalaureate or equivalent, as well as being registered with the SAE and residing in the town.

«We hope that the people who access this workshop can benefit and contribute to the development of Zurgena,» said the local head of employment.
