The 3rd edition of the Tourist Photography Competition of the Almanzora Valley, organised by the Almanzora Valley Association of Tourist Entrepreneurs with the collaboration of the town councils of Albox, Arboleas, Bacares, Cantoria, Chercos, Laroya, Líjar, Macael, Olula del Río, Oria, Partaloa, Purchena, Serón, Sierro, Suflí, Taberno, Tíjola, Urrácal and Zurgena, will be held from the 1st to the 31st of May 2024.
The theme of the competition focuses on any of the 30 Wonders of the Almanzora which can be found on the TurismoAlmanzora.com project website or on photographs of the villages listed on the website.
Participation in this competition is free of charge and the three best classified will have a cash prize of 250€, 150€ and 100€ as well as a diploma.
The judges for this competition are: Álvaro Pérez García -Master in Photography Direction at the Madrid Film School and Director of Felinu Academy-, Raquel Caparrós -Manager of Caparrós Fotografía and member of the association of professional photographers of Almería- and Pablo García Ibáñez -Director of the Pérez Siquier Photography Centre-.
The aim of the tourist photography competitions organised by the business association of the Almanzora region is to obtain new photographs of important elements or villages in the region to renew the website and use in social networks to promote tourism in the area.
