The sub-delegate of the Government co-chairs the Local Security Board in Zurgena.

The sub-delegate of the Government in Almería, José María Martín Fernández, this morning co-chaired the Local Security Board held in Zurgena together with the mayor of this town, Domingo Trabalón.

The meeting, held in the Town Hall, was also attended by the head colonel of the Guardia Civil Command in Almería, Jorge Montero, together with officers from the State Security Forces and Corps and Local Police of this municipality.

During the course of this meeting, the arrangements planned in the municipality and districts for the upcoming celebrations to be held during the summer season were analysed, such as the festival of San Juan, the festivities of San Pedro in La Alfoquía or in El Palacés, together with the patron saint festivities of Zurgena scheduled for the end of August.

In addition, during the meeting the data and citizen security reinforcements that currently exist in this town of the Almanzora were evaluated.
