This programme of the Regional Government of Andalusia will improve their opportunities for access to the labour market, their social participation and their entrepreneurial skills.

The Government delegate, Aránzazu Martín Moya, together with the territorial delegate for Employment, Enterprise and Self-Employment, Amós García Hueso, today presented the ‘Prepared’ programme, which will enable 4,091 unemployed women from Almeria from municipalities with less than 30,000 inhabitants or from vulnerable areas of other localities to receive qualifications in the use of new technologies and digital environments to improve their job opportunities and their self-employment skills.

The beneficiaries will be women who are unemployed, on ERTE or who are employed but wish to improve their employment situation. As for the training actions to boost their entrepreneurial skills, they include ICT and entrepreneurship, strategy and new business models on the Internet, initiation to the creation of entrepreneurial projects, cybersecurity and customer data protection, creation of online shops, visibility on the Internet with social networks and digital networking and design of campaigns and promotions on digital channels. Women interested in registering can do so at https://lajunta.es/inscripcionpreparadas and obtain more information on the website of the Regional Ministry of Employment. Amós García recalled that the Regional Ministry of Employment, Enterprise and Self-Employment is implementing various actions aimed at promoting access to the labour market for Andalusian women living in rural municipalities, such as the aid that extends the flat rate for the self-employed and which includes a super-reduced quota for entrepreneurs in towns with less than 5,000 inhabitants, or the projects that benefit women entrepreneurs in towns with less than 5,000 inhabitants, as well as the projects to promote the employment of Andalusian women in rural areas. 000 inhabitants or the projects benefiting 522 unemployed women in Almeria from rural municipalities who are already receiving support for their labour insertion with guidance, intermediation and training, through the Support Programme for Women in Rural and Urban Areas, financed with 1,160,230 euros by the Regional Ministry of Employment.

It is also part of the Digital Empowerment Plan of Andalusia, approved by the Governing Council on 20 December, which sets out the objectives set by the Regional Government of Andalusia until 2025 to turn the Autonomous Community into a 100% digital, inclusive and competitive region. It also has the backing of the ‘Andalucía Vuela’ strategy, and in particular of the Guadalinfo Vuela Points Network, made up of 760 centres located in municipalities with less than 20,000 inhabitants and in disadvantaged areas of other localities, 95 of them in the province of Almeria, which provide spaces for innovation and digital training for the population.
