The Purchena resident José Luis Serrano has been appointed by the local PP and the provincial leadership to head the list of the Partido Popular for the next municipal elections, a challenge he faces with «great enthusiasm and excitement to bring change to Purchena after more than 30 years of uninterrupted socialist governments».
José Luis Serrano, Pepe Luis to those who know him, is aware of the «fears» that exist in Purchena, but asks his neighbours for «courage» because only in this way «our municipality will emerge from the ostracism in which it finds itself as a result of the policies of recent years».
In this sense, he explains that Juanma Moreno has more than demonstrated that there is another way of governing in Andalusia, that one’s word is kept and that with effort and hard work, the economic situation of our community can be turned around. This is what he intends to convey at the local level.
«Purchena needs change more than ever. It needs a breath of fresh air to enter the Town Hall and I am ready to achieve this with a team of people whose main objective is for Purchena to occupy the place it deserves in the Almanzora Valley and at provincial level», he said.
He also thanked the three PP councillors who are currently on the Town Council and who «have played an important role in the change that will take place on 28th May».
To achieve this, the PP candidate asks the residents for their support for the next four years. «We are not going to let you down, we have new ideas, an exciting project and above all a great desire for Purchena to have better services, better infrastructure and a better quality of life for all the people of Purchena, whatever their age», he insists.
José Luis Serrano also highlights the «great boost» that will be achieved in Purchena with a Town Hall governed by the PP and the support of institutions such as the Diputación, the Junta and very soon the Government of Spain with the Partido Popular.
Finally, he thanked the provincial leadership and the PP of Purchena for the support received to be able to lead a project of which he is proud and which he hopes will serve to end the neglect and idleness and achieve the great transformation that the municipality needs.
