The Guardia Civil has arrested in Roquetas de Mar an influencer with more than 45,000 followers on a well-known social network for sexually abusing a friend while she was asleep and uploading it on her profile.
The arrested woman uploaded several videos while kissing and touching a friend who was asleep. The victim reported these events to the Guardia Civil in the province of Guadalajara, who alerted the officers in Roquetas de Mar in Almería, where the alleged perpetrator lived.
In her statement, the victim told the Guardia Civil that she was sleeping at the home of an acquaintance in the town of Almeria and when she woke up and saw that the other person was touching her, she quickly fled.
Both the agents and the victim found that while she had been sleeping she had been recorded receiving kisses and touching without her consent. The influencer uploaded the videos of her kissing the victim to her profile on a well-known social network and the sexual touching to a private group on another social network. In addition, the victim also received insults and threats from the author via telephone messaging.
After verifying that the videos were published on social networks, the Guardia Civil agents arrested the influencer in Roquetas de Mar, who already had a criminal record and previous complaints for harassment on social networks.
The perpetrator was charged with sexual assault, revealing a secret and threats. The investigative proceedings were sent to the Dean of the Courts of the judicial district of Roquetas de Mar.
