The Provincial Council of Almería has presented the calendar of cultural activities that will be taking place in the municipalities of the province of Almería this Christmas.
Specifically, the range of activities is varied, with traditional music, Almeria theatre and a Christmas cocktail programme with choirs, flamenco zambomba and theatre. Thus, the vice-president and deputy for Culture, Cinema and Almeria Identity, Almudena Morales, has highlighted the importance of this programme that brings culture to the corners of the province: “in this incomparable setting we present the extensive Christmas programme that the area of Culture, Cinema and Almeria Identity has prepared for this month of December”.
We have more than 70 activities that will take place throughout the province of Almería with a provincial theatre show, the soundtrack of your town or the great Christmas cocktail, where the residents of the province will be able to enjoy theatre, flamenco zambombas, choirs, music, Christmas carols and many more activities to celebrate this great time of year, our Christmas”, added the vice president and deputy for Culture, Cinema and Almeria Identity.

The Christmas cocktail will thus be held in Bedar, Rioja, Velez Blanco, Balanegra, Cantoria, Fiñana, Lucainena de las Torres, Abrucena, Olula de Castro, Padules, Felix, Partaloa, Viator, Garrucha, Pulpi, Senes, Lubrin, Almocita, Alhabia, Laujar de Andarax, Purchena, Tahal, Paterna del Rio, Antas, Carboneras, Oria, Maria and Alhama de Almeria. The activities will take place from 6 to 29 December.
In addition, the Almería Theatre Festival, which began on November 29, will be held until next Sunday, December 29, reaching different municipalities such as Abrucena, Alboloduy, Sorbas, Benahadux, Gádor, Fines, Serón, Los Gallardos and Turre.
On the other hand, the Traditional Music programme from Almería will take place from Saturday 21st December to Sunday 29th December and will reach Nacimiento, Lúcar, Huécija, Mojácar, Laujar de Andarax, Alcolea, Carboneras, Castro de Filabres and Albanchez.
