A pleasant day for sports practice in which 220 registered athletes brought colour to the municipality. The winners of the race were the runners from the Que Atacamos club, Juan Díaz García, and the international runner from the Sierra Sur de Jaén club, Silvia Lara Diéguez.
In the 5 km ascent, Juan Díaz García from Almeria clocked a time of 00:39:22, one minute and 15 seconds less than the runner-up, Juan Enrique Gutiérrez Martín (Club Trail Sierra Abuela, 00:40:38), with Ismael Bacas López (Club Nerja de Atletismo, 00:40:49) in third place.
In the absolute female category, the winner was the international runner from Castillo de Locubín, Silvia Lara Diéguez, who clocked a time of 00:46:43, with Beatriz Pardo Cañadas (Club de Montaña Cerro del Caballo, 00:49:49) in second place and Julia García Martínez (CD Acebuche, 00:50:48) in third.
In Junior Men, the victory went to Francisco Javier Tejonero Valdés (CDS Los Vereitas, 00:43:47) and twelfth overall, with Miguel Pérez García (BTT Yinquera, 00:45:21) and sixteenth overall. In the Junior Women’s category, victory for Carmen López Macías (Club de Atletismo y Montaña Atarfe, 01:02:51), followed by Raquel García González (Club de Montaña Mundoejido, 01:09:35) and Adriana Muñoz Molina (Club de Montaña Roncón de la Victoria, 01:09:36). In the Juvenile Male category, victory for Pablo Cuevas Tirado (Locos de la Colina, 00:43:14), followed by Tomás Blanco Salazar (CD WERUN, 00:43:27) and Francisco Martínez López (BTT YunqueRa, 00:45:04).
In the Cadet Male category, Carlos García Suárez (CD Sierra Nevada Trail Running, 00:21:12) won, followed by Yeray Hernández Rojas (Club de Atletismo y Montaña Atarfe, 00:21:38) and Pablo Fernández Herrera (CD Fuente del Acebuche, 00:24:14). In the Female Cadet category, Alicia Matilla Gilabert (Club de Atletismo Sierra de Segura, 00:30:09) won, followed by Paloma Castro Bravo (CD Fuente del Acebuche, 00:31:59) and in third place, Helena Jiménez Suárez (Club Sierra Sur de Jaén, 00:32:00).
The race took place in the municipalities of Purchena and Laroya, passing through different areas such as Gevas, Barranco de las Zorreras, Cuerda de los Pelaos de García, Cerro Pelao, belonging to the municipality of Purchena, and Piedra Juan Felipe, in Laroya.
